Content Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Episodo exists to make original parody starring fictional AI characters. Premises are screened automatically before any rendering happens, and violations can mean blocked generations, removed content, or a closed account.
Not allowed
- Real people. No depicting identifiable real people — celebrities, politicians, your coworkers, anyone. Parody here means fictional characters, not deepfakes.
- Third-party IP.No recreating copyrighted characters, shows, logos, or brands. “An office comedy” is fine; naming or replicating a specific show or its characters is not.
- Sexual content of any kind, and any content sexualizing or endangering minors — zero tolerance, reported where the law requires.
- Hate, harassment, or violence — content demeaning people for protected characteristics, targeting individuals, or glorifying real-world violence.
- Deception — passing AI output off as real footage, fake news, scams, or impersonating organizations.
- Illegal content or instructions that facilitate serious harm.
Encouraged
- Original characters in absurd situations — that’s the whole point.
- Genre parody: cooking shows, reality-TV tropes, nature documentaries, late-night formats.
- Disclosing that your videos are AI-made when you post them — most platforms now require it.
Enforcement & appeals
Automated screening blocks disallowed premises before any rendering spend. Anything featured in the public Explore gallery gets an additional human review. If you think a block or removal was a mistake, tell us via the help page — appeals are read by a human.
Reporting
Saw something on a share link or in the gallery that breaks these rules? Report it through the help page with the link — reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
