How do I sign up?
Go to the home page and click Sign up — enter your email and a password and you're in instantly. Every new account starts with a free 15-second take, no card required.
How does making an episode work?
Pick a show vibe and up to three characters to form a series, then write a one-line premise. Episodo writes the script and a scene still first — nothing renders until you approve it. After approval, the video renders in minutes and lands in your series, captioned and sized 9:16.
What do credits cost me?
Your first 15-second take is free — every new account starts with 4 credits, no card required. Scripts and scene previews are always free; you only spend credits when you approve the render. A 15-second take costs 4 credits ($4) and a 30-second take renders two scenes for 8 credits ($8) — 30s unlocks with any credit pack. Packs start at $26 on the pricing page.
My episode failed — now what?
Open the episode and hit Retry. It resumes from the right point: if the script was already written, only the video re-renders; otherwise it re-rolls the script. Retries of failures don't double-charge credits for work already done. If it keeps failing, message us below with the episode link.
My episode is stuck on "rendering"
Renders normally land within a few minutes. The page updates live — you don't need to refresh. If a take has been stuck for more than 15 minutes, you can cancel it (which frees your in-flight slot) and try again, or write to us below.
Why was my premise blocked?
Premises are screened against the Content Policy before rendering — most blocks are real people or third-party shows/characters. Rephrase with original characters and it usually goes through. Think we got it wrong? Send an appeal below.
Can I post the videos on TikTok / Reels / Shorts?
Yes — you own your takes and can post them anywhere, including commercially. The share screen has one-tap Post to TikTok / Post to Instagram buttons: on mobile the share sheet hands the video to the app with your caption copied; on desktop the MP4 downloads, the caption is copied, and the upload page opens. Most platforms require you to mark the content as AI-generated when posting.
Who can see my videos?
Only you, unless you share a link. A share link makes that single take viewable by anyone with the URL. The public Explore gallery only shows takes that were explicitly featured after review.
How do I delete my account?
From your account page — it removes your series, episodes, access record, and sign-in. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what deletion covers.
